TOWER TRUCK

In case you haven't seen it yet, this is the newest addtion to the Washington Fire Department fleet of fire trucks. The $896,000 truck gives the department the capacity to reach the top of tall buildings or two story houses with ease.

Our fire department is now equiped to handle almost anything that could or would happen in Fayette County. The department also has a hazmat trailer with equipment to handle dangerous spills, a grass fire truck, an air tank refill truck, and many other amenities which each fireman is trained to operate. Washington Court House has one of the best equiped departments in the State of Ohio.

The new six million dollar building that houses the fire department has a fully equipped gym in the basement. Each fireman is required to participate in morning exercise workouts in order to keep fit for the job.
