OLD SHOE

In the treasure trove box from the shed I recently wrote about, when I found a pair of my baby shoes, I also found ONE of my mother's baby shoes. I remember her showing them to me many years ago. Long black socks were rolled up inside this shoe and are in decent shape. But I only found one. Thinking back to when I found the other two pairs of my baby shoes in a box in the attic, I think I remember seeing the matching shoe to this one. Now I have to search for the box they were located in and reunite the pair.

I wonder how they got separated several years ago? Did they just go their separate ways????? Reunion is near!
