I was out in the back yard the other day and saw nothing unusual. Then yesterday, while the yard man was mowing, he shouted that I had a few Magic Lilies in bloom.
WHAT? I didn't realize I had any out there. Sure enough, they sprung up quickly and will be gone as fast.
According to the encyclopedia, the leaves sprout and grow in the spring, then die back during June. Then in late July or early August the flowers appear. The flowers are white or pink and fragrant. The flowers spring dramatically from the ground in mid to late summer; it usually takes only four to five days from first emergence to full bloom.
SURPRISE SURPRISE. IT'S MAGIC!
